About Our Hail Repair Services

Check out these FAQs here to learn more about the 48-Hour Auto Hail Repair Process.

How do estimates work?

There are two different types of auto repair estimates at 48-Hour Auto Hail Repair. The first is a FREE 3-minute Estimate where you can get a quote based on questions about the damage to your vehicle.

The other estimate is a FREE 1-hour Custom Estimate. This is more in-depth and gives you a more accurate expectation of what your repairs will cost.

It’s important to note that with full coverage insurance, you’ll pay nothing to get your vehicle repaired. You’ll also get your deductible fully paid by us (only available for the first 200 customers after a storm).

How long does the repair service take?

Your repairs will be completed within 48 hours. You’ll have a choice to keep your vehicle until it’s ready for repair, unlike other shops who can keep your vehicle hostage for 4-6 weeks. Once your claim handling is complete, and all replacement parts (if needed) have arrived on-site, your repairs will be done in 48 hours.

How does a customer drop off their vehicle for repairs?

Unlike other hail damage repair shops, customers only need to drop off their car when it is due for service. Many other shops will request you drop off your car but won't touch it for weeks.

Do you provide any transportation?

Yes. If your insurance coverage does not include a rental car, 48-Hour Auto Hail Repair will provide you with one during your repairs.

Will my insurance premium go up?

Whether you get your vehicle repaired or not - everyone who lives in the area where the storm occurred will see their premium go up. It is not based on your individual damage or repair. The insurance company looks at the entire area as a higher risk factor and will raise insurance premiums for everyone in that area, again - whether you get your vehicle repaired or not.

In fact, if you do not get your vehicle repaired, your insurance company will increase your rates even more upon policy renewal because of the risk factors associated with rust and structural integrity caused by the effects of hail damage.

Does hail devalue my vehicle?

Yes. Unfortunately, your vehicle’s value can be permanently damaged the longer you wait to get your vehicle repaired. This will affect your insurance upon policy renewal, as well, because hail damage will compromise the structural integrity of your vehicle and, therefore, your personal safety.

Are there any warranties or guarantees?

There is a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee that your repairs will last a lifetime. If you have an issue, please bring your vehicle back for adjustments.

Do you work with my insurance company?

48-Hour Auto Hail Repair works with all insurance companies. The Pay $0 Program involves fully paying your insurance deductible. In most cases, customers pay nothing out of pocket (this depends on your insurance coverage).

What is paintless dent repair?

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) was invented in 1960 by a Mercedes Benz engineer. Now it's the trusted method for removing vehicle dents by insurance companies, dealerships, and manufacturers. There are several reasons why PDR has become the top choice for repairs, including that it's much less invasive than body shop repairs.

At 48-Hour Auto Hail Repair, we specialize in Paintless Dent Repair. When more extensive repairs are needed, we have expert staff to repair and replace panels, windshields, mirrors, and more.

How does paintless dent repair work?

The paintless dent repair (PDR) method allows skilled specialists to smooth out your vehicle’s dents without impacting the paint or underlying structure of your vehicle.

Using specialized tools, highly skilled technicians manually massage the metal from the underside, restoring your vehicle to factory perfection without disturbing the original factory paint. This is the only way to retain your original factory finish and restore your vehicle to full book value.

Do you do glasswork and bodywork?

Yes, if you have cracked windshields, damaged mirrors, or need any replacement parts because of your hail damage, 48-Hour Auto Hail Repair has you covered. You don’t need to go to multiple body shops to fix your damage.
